BECOMING A SOCIAL MEMBER

Welcome to VISTA Gardens! All residents of Hillsborough County are invited to become members of VISTA Gardens and learn about organic gardening methods and associated technologies. Borrowing a phrase from the Hillsborough County Parks Mission,  VISTA Gardens is a place to “Leave life’s daily pressures behind and reconnect with nature, your family, and friends at a nearby County park.”

We offer two categories of membership:

Seasonal Gardener

Members are those individuals and families who choose to rent a raised bed at VISTA Gardens to grow vegetables, fruits and flowers.

Community

Members choose to participate in all of VISTA's activities without renting a raised bed.

All members have access to the common garden areas, including our herb and butterfly gardens, compost, pond, woodland and trail. All of our members enjoy volunteering in various ways at VISTA. When group educational and community activities are available, we invite all our members to participate.
