Become a VISTA Gardens Member - What is involved?
VISTA Gardens is a community and, as with any community, there are core commitments that allow our ecosystem to thrive.

1. Maintain* your raised garden bed and surrounding pathways using organic gardening methods.
​
2. Volunteer for general garden upkeep at least two hours monthly.
​
3. Participate actively in one of VISTA’s committees. There are a wide variety of options that accommodate all levels of skill and physical ability.

*Maintain = pest and disease-free plants; regularly harvest ripe produce; keep your bed and surrounding pathways free from weeds. As needed, add fresh mulch (that is provided by garden) to keep your pathways well covered.

Dues can be paid by check or online.

Make check to VISTA Gardens and place in the locked mailbox in our garden shed.

Pay online through our Store, where we accept PayPal. Online payments are nonrefundable, and a handling fee is included in the total cost. Click here to make your online payment.

New VISTA gardeners only submit payment of membership dues after VISTA's Membership Committee Chair has confirmed availability of a raised garden bed.
Generally, raised garden beds are closed between July 15-August 15, although VISTA gardeners continue creating compost, tending butterfly and herb gardens, and other common areas. VISTA members who wish to keep their raised bed open make special arrangements with the Garden Committee.
